As you know the moment of realizing our collective dream is approaching fast. And nature is also joining us in the celebrations; the cold winter is getting behind us and spring is in the air bringing joy & renewed hope.


One of the critical item during Pratistha is the Boli for various rituals and privileges during these auspicious days. Many leaders and volunteers have been busy for more than a month preparing list of bolies required during pratistha and logistics of handling such a large event. As a result of this effort we have posted the Boli List & Guideline document on our website that has detailed information and list of Bolies.


The document embodies our efforts to strike a balance between several conflicting requirements:

  1. Raise necessary funds to financially sustain our Derasar
  2. Minimize Time for Bolies
  3. Encourage Larger Participation
  4. Event & Personnel Logistics
  5. Give ALL member chance to fulfill their Life Time Duties as Shravak & Shravikas (more explanation in person)
  6. Encourage participation from external guests and more.


With this announcement we are formally starting the process of accepting bolies via phone or email on first come first serve basis for all members at the same time.

 

On Saturday 4/16 during the Mahavir Janma Kalyanak program (please RSVP), Rineshbhai will go over this list and answer any related questions.

 

Brief Summary of Key Boli Items

  1. We have total three types of Bolis, OPEN, FIXED & LARGE GROUP. (see boli document for explanation)
  2. You can start signing up for both FIXED & LARGE GROUP bolies starting today. For OPEN bolies you can bid and it will be used as starting amount.
  3. We have a special Pratimaji Bharavana Boli for the new Shri Parshwanath Bhagvan designated as LARGE GROUP so ALL sangh members can participate, just like what we did for the Shila Sthapan where 40+ families signed up. Let’s beat that number for this time, what do you say Sudhaben?
  4. We also have opportunity to perform Guru Gautam Swami Poojan & Nav Grah Poojan in LARGE GROUP category, so any number of families can sign up.
  5. Encourage your friends and relatives from other cities to participate.
